Residential Building Certification

Building Approvals for class 1, and 10 structures

Precision Building Certification covers all aspects of the building certification process. Our Building Certifiers will assess the proposed plans against the Standards, Planning Schemes, Building Codes, relevant assets & infrastructure and more. This is to provide you with the peace of mind knowing your building will be safe and compliant with Council regulations

Facilitation of Concurrence agency applications

We can assist you by preparing and submitting Concurrence Agency Applications with the Local Councils. We will help ensure your project conforms to the Local Council’s planning scheme & Design and Siting standards

Facilitation of Town Planning applications

Precision Building Certification provides a one-stop shop, with Minor town planning, Code Assessments and Building Certification completed in-house. The Town Planning team, work with our Building Certifiers to provide a straightforward and streamlined process, saving time and money overall. This means for minor Town Planning it will cut out the wait time for outsourcing and the need to deal with numerous people at once. Town Planning applications outside our scope will be outsourced to a Town Planner whom we work closely with ensuring a streamline process

Facilitation of Amenity and Aesthetics applications

We can assist you by preparing and submitting Amenity & Aesthetics Applications with your Local Council. We will help ensure your project conforms to the Local Council’s planning scheme, Design and Siting standards and environmental Regulations

Facilitation of supplementary applications

Plumbing, Build over Storm Water/Water/Sewer Infrastructure, Build over easements. If required, we work closely with the Local Councils and Authorities to gain permits for plumbing, build over or near infrastructure (Sewer or Stormwater for example) and Build over easement applications

Facilitation of Energy Efficiency assessments

We can provide a referral to an Industry expert who carries out an Energy Efficiency assessment of your proposed 1a structure. This assessment will ensure all facets of the Building Codes Energy efficiency requirements are designed accordingly

Bushfire assessments (referred)

If your property is situated in a designated bushfire-prone land, we can assist with the referral to an industry expert who can provide you with the Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) and determine the risk your building may face if a bushfire occurs in the area

Mandatory Inspections and Issuing of Final Inspection Certificates

Mandatory Inspections are a crucial step in the closeout process for any building project. Our licenced staff will attend on-site and inspect your project, to ensure that each relevant stage inspected fully complies with local Codes, usage Regulations, and safety requirements

Liveable Housing Design

We are qualified to assess your plans, ensuring they comply with the Livable Housing Australia Design Guidelines. The Livable Housing Guidelines have been developed by industry and the community to provide assurance that a home is easier to access and live in, as well more cost effective to adapt when life’s circumstances change

Show Cause notice Consultation and progress pathway

Precision Building Certification has gained a reputation for helping clients that have been served with a Show Cause Notice. We provide the services to assist you with resolving compliance action being taken against you by a local Government. Our Certifiers have had success through use of negotiation and achieve favourable outcomes for clients issued with a Show Cause Notice
